The “Industrial Advisory Board” held its first meeting in 2017-2018
Within its keenness to develop the engineering field and interact with the engineering community, the “Industrial Advisory Board (IAB)” of the College of Engineering at Al Ain University held its first meeting in the academic year 2017-2018 at Hili Rayhan Rotana Hotel – Al Ain.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat, Dean of the College of Engineering and attended by Dr. Amna Al Kaabi from Etimad Research and Development, Dr. Mohammed Alzaabi from Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Eng. Fatima Al Dhaheri from Al Ain Distribution Company, Eng. Maryam Al Thani from DEWA, Eng. Adnan Alrais from Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, and Eng. Raed Al Reyashi from Society of Engineers – UAE.
Dr. Nazih commenced the meeting by welcoming all members and appreciating their efforts in improving the quality of the programs offered in the College of Engineering and discussing the “future” programs to be launched in the college. Where the meeting aims to develop the college policies, evaluate its strategic plans, and strengthen its position in the engineering community.
It is worth to mention that the main mission of the College of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board is to serve as a resource and a connection to the workplace for the college programs.
