The “Industrial Advisory Board” held the 2nd meeting to discuss various issues in the engineering field
The “Industrial Advisory Board (IAB)” of the College of Engineering at Al Ain University held its second meeting in the academic year (2016-2017) in Abu Dhabi Campus.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat )Dean of the College of Engineering) and attended by Dr. Faten Kharbat (Deputy Dean), Dr. Essa Basaeed (Chair, IEEE UAE Section), Dr. Hamad Al Marzouqi (Senior Expert, Space Systems, Development Department -Mohamed Bin Rashed Space Center) and Eng. Fatima Al Dhaheri (Electricity Operation & Maintenance Director, Al Ain Distribution Company).
Dr. Nazih opened the meeting by welcoming all members and appreciating their efforts in improving the quality of the programs offered in the College of Engineering and discussing the “future” programs to be launched in the college.
It is worth to mention that the main mission of the College of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board is to serve as a resource and a connection to the workplace for the college programs, which aims to develop the college policies, evaluate its strategic plans, and strengthen its position in the engineering community.
