An Awareness Workshop on the Engineer Registration System in cooperation with Al Ain Municipality
The Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Department of Municipalities and Transport at Al Ain Municipality, organized an awareness workshop for the College of Engineering students titled “Engineer Registration Workshop.” Engineer Rawda Al Amri and Engineer أHmaid Al Yamahi conducted the workshop, which Dr. Essam Al-Azoni moderated from the College of Engineering.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the Engineer Registration System, a framework that defines a set of professional standards and requirements governing the practice of engineering in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. During the session, a detailed explanation was provided about the registration mechanism in the Engineer Registration System and how engineers' data and skills are documented in a unified database.
The workshop also covered the steps for submitting a registration application via the “TAMM” platform, starting with providing the required information and culminating in obtaining the “Engineer Registration” card for bachelor's degree holders. This card facilitates future employment opportunities for engineering graduates.
The students showed great interest in the workshop, engaging with the presented information and gaining insight into the system’s role in enhancing engineers' efficiency and ensuring their compliance with the required professional standards.
