Widespread Engagement in the Breast Cancer Awareness Day
The Health Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs, Al Ain University – Abu Dhabi, organized a health awareness day on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, to promote breast cancer prevention. Several medical entities participated in the event, including Ibn Sina Hospital, the Canadian Medical Center, Capital Health, Millennium Hospital, Al Ahlia Eye Care, and Wellness Day Surgery Center. The event aimed to raise community awareness about early detection and breast cancer prevention. Students also presented educational posters and organized short quizzes to emphasize the significance of early breast cancer screening. The awareness day received widespread interaction from students, who greatly benefited from the information on prevention and early detection.
