Al Ain University Welcomes New Students at Both Campuses for the Academic year 2025-2026

Al Ain University’s Deanship of Student Affairs – Al Ain Campus organized a welcoming event for new students in a friendly atmosphere filled with excitement and optimism. The event opened with a speech by the University President, who warmly welcomed the students, reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting their academic journey and offering fatherly advice that encouraged diligence, excellence, and determination.

Prof. Ebtehal Abu Ruz, Vice President for Development and Follow-up and Dean of Student Affairs, also addressed the students, expressing her delight at welcoming them into the AAU family. She emphasized the university’s dedication to mobilizing all its resources to support their educational journey and to foster their engagement in extracurricular activities that develop their skills and refine their personalities, preparing them for a promising future.

The event featured competitions, raffles, and enjoyable activities that promoted a sense of belonging and helped new students connect with each other, highlighting the university’s commitment to providing a distinguished educational environment that contributes to their academic and professional growth.

A similar orientation was also organized at the Abu Dhabi Campus, where Prof. Amer Qasem, Vice President of the University (Abu Dhabi Campus), welcomed the new students and congratulated them on joining the AAU community. Dr. Noha Hamadeh, Associate Dean of Student Affairs, also addressed the students, stressing the significance of this new beginning. The event included artistic performances and presentations from the eight colleges showcasing their achievements and academic offerings, alongside interactive activities and competitions that enhanced students’ integration into the university community.

Both events witnessed strong engagement from students, contributing to a deeper sense of belonging and introducing them to the university’s academic programs and extracurricular opportunities, leaving a positive and encouraging impression as they embark on their educational journey.
