MoU Between AAU and University of Khorfakkan Libraries
As part of efforts to enhance educational and research collaboration, Al Ain University Library has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Khorfakkan University Library. The signing ceremony took place at Al Ain University in the presence of Prof. Ghaleb A. ElRefae, AAU President, and Prof. Ali Hilal Alnaqbi, UKF President. Dr. Abdoulaye Kaba, Library Director, signed the MoU on behalf of AAU, while Dr. Ahmed Zeidan, Director of Library, signed on behalf of UKF.
This agreement aims to strengthen strategic cooperation between the two universities by exchanging information resources and academic expertise in various fields. It provides students and faculty members with opportunities to benefit from the exchange of books, journals, and multimedia, as well as access to library facilities for visitors from both institutions. Additionally, it encourages the sharing of ideas and knowledge across different disciplines.
During the visit, the delegation of UKF took a guided tour of AAU Library, where they were introduced to the library’s resources and services. Prof. Ghaleb A. ElRefae, AAU President, expressed his delight at signing the MoU, emphasizing the vital role such partnerships play in advancing education and scientific research. He affirmed that this agreement marks the beginning of promising future academic collaborations.
