A Workshop Entitled “"Discover a New World with AR"
The College of Engineering at Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi Campus) organized a workshop entitled "Discover a New World with AR" conducted by Eng. Esra AlNashash.
The workshop focused on utilizing the Unity3D platform to create impressive augmented reality (AR) applications, and it taught students how to find and use 3D models with different textures, colors, and materials. Moreover, they also learned to create their own models and easily put them into mobile applications.
The student Omar Alkendi from the College of Engineering, shared his positive experience after attending the workshop: "I noticed how much fun my colleagues were having throughout this workshop and Eng. Esra’s teaching was top-notch, and made it twice as fun to work through, it was a very wonderful learning experience that I will definitely treasure".
