Al Ain University participates in the Eighth Istanbul International Invention Fair (ISIF23)

Al Ain University (AAU) has participated in the 8th Istanbul International Invention Fair (ISIF23) with the project "Central Remote Control of Car Brakes". Dr. Noha Hamada - Deputy Dean of Student Affairs and member of the academic staff from the College of Engineering at (Abu Dhabi Campus) was the representative of the AAU.

Dr. Noha Hamada's project aims to achieve traffic safety and reduce traffic accidents caused by bad weather, and the idea is to use advanced technology to allow central control from the Traffic Department to reduce the speed of drivers only gradually, as the idea is suitable to be implemented in smart cities by linking digital signals for speeds the car's brakes are centrally controlled by the Traffic Department.

The idea of ​​a remote central control project on car brakes was admired by many visitors and participants in the exhibition, and an agreement was reached with a number of participants for more joint cooperation on the idea of ​​the project and the development of scientific research related to it.

The Istanbul International Fair contributes to the promotion of inventions, meeting with investors, and marketing them more strongly, as the exhibition is considered the center of information exchange for the ecosystem with national and international workshops. 20 countries participated in ISIF23. In addition, the inventions that will be selected as a result of evaluations within the scope of ISIF will have the opportunity to provide a collective presentation to representatives of investment groups coming from home and abroad and to increase their marketing opportunities and receive guidance.

It is worth mentioning that this participation in the Istanbul International Fair comes within the university's vision of opening up to the international world and keeping abreast of everything new in the scientific and technological field, which enhances the role and position of the university in developing scientific research and encouraging innovation and invention.
