An MOU between AAU and Staffordshire University in the fields of research and Artificial Intelligence
The Artificial Intelligence Research Centre at Al-Ain University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Staffordshire University's Smart Systems, AI, and Cybersecurity Research Centre (UK). This collaboration aims to advance research and development and promote knowledge exchange and technology transfer between the two Centres.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Ghaleb El-Refae, President of Al-Ain University, and Prof. Elhadj Benkhelifa, Director of the Smart Systems, AI and Cybersecurity Research Centre from Staffordshire University. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Haythem Bany Salameh, Dean of Research and Director of Al-Ain AI research center and Dr. Qutaibah Althebyan, the Dean of the College of Engineering.
Under this MoU, both institutions will collaborate on joint research projects and explore avenues for research staff and student exchange to develop between the two research centers. The collaboration will also involve joint workshops, seminars, and conferences to disseminate research findings and promote knowledge exchange among the academic and industrial communities.
