Workshop Titled "Sustainable Methods for Wastewater Treatment"

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi campus), in collaboration with the College of Engineering, organized a workshop titled "Sustainable Methods for Wastewater Treatment," presented by Dr. Omar Najm.

The workshop focused on the importance of using sustainable technologies in wastewater treatment, providing a detailed explanation of modern methods and technologies used in this field. Dr. Najm explained how wastewater can be converted into reusable resources, contributing to environmental conservation and pollution reduction.

The students conducted practical experiments to treat water using the sustainable methods they learned during the lecture. A competition was organized to evaluate their efforts, with the group that achieved the highest treatment efficiency being selected as the winners.

The students engaged significantly with the topic, showing clear interest and inquiring about the details of applying these technologies in everyday life. The workshop concluded with an open discussion session where Dr. Najm answered students' questions and inquiries.

This workshop is part of a series of events and activities organized by Al Ain University aimed at raising environmental awareness among students and enhancing knowledge of sustainable solutions in various engineering fields.
