Professional Experience

  • 2015 -2017   Dean, Professor, Communication Engineering Department, Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology. Yarmouk  University, Irbid-Jordan. (over 4800 students, 110 faculty, 70 staff).
  1. Provided leadership and was responsible for all issues ( academic and administrative) of the college such as upgrading academic programs to the highest quality, establishing new programs and hiring staff and managing the budgets.
  2. Establishing links with alumni, government agencies and local industry.
  3. Working closely with faculty and staff to advance the college’s mission and vision and to get ABET accreditation.
  4. Implementing the strategic plan of the college that is in line with the university mission and vision.
  5. Reporting semi-annually to the President all accomplishments achieved by the college of engineering in accordance with the strategic plan of the college and university.
