In collaboration with Cyber Elites, Al Ain University – Abu Dhabi Campus, organized the “Rise of the Elites | CTF” competition — a technical cybersecurity challenge designed to stimulate students’ analytical thinking and technical skills.

The competition brought together 30 students from both the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses, competing in teams to tackle a wide range of specialized challenges in various cybersecurity fields including Digital Forensics, Web Security, OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence), Binary Exploitation (PWN), Cryptography, and Miscellaneous tasks.

The event was presented by Jumaa Alhameli (Founder of Cyber Elites), Hamzah Salem, and Omar Khalayleh (Cybersecurity students and challenge authors), under the supervision of Eng. Rima Masri, Cybersecurity Lab Supervisor.

The goal of the competition was to enhance students’ hands-on knowledge in cybersecurity, promote teamwork, strategic thinking, and real-time problem-solving, while also serving as a platform to discover promising cybersecurity talents within the university.

Winning teams were awarded certificates and cash prizes. The high level of engagement throughout the event reflected the importance of such technical activities in shaping the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
