Engineering Students Secure Third Place at the 4th Annual Digital Transformation Hackathon
A team from the College of Engineering at the University of Al Ain – Abu Dhabi Campus secured third place at the 4th Annual Digital Transformation Hackathon, organized by Zayed University and sponsored by Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre.
The event focused on AI-driven solutions for sustainability, bringing together top university teams from across the UAE. The University of Al Ain team, consisting of Awaiz Ahmed, Carl Castro, Ahmad Almasri, and Naser Meah, under the supervision of engineers Rima Masri, Esra Al Nashash, and Zaid Hadya, developed an innovative solution called "DocuMaster."
"DocuMaster" was created in response to the Dubai Customs challenge. It is an AI-powered data analysis platform designed to streamline the validation of both structured and unstructured data in bulk, earning the team third place in the competition.
