Engineering Students Visit the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit 2025

The Engineering Department at the Abu Dhabi Campus organized an educational visit to the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit 2025, held at Yas Marina Circuit on Monday, November 10, 2025. A group of students participated under the supervision of Dr. Thaer Mismar and Eng. Yara Rashwan.

The visit aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and introduce them to the latest developments in autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and smart mobility technologies. It took place as part of Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week (ADAW 2025), which brings together global experts, innovators, and industry leaders to explore the future of intelligent mobility.

During the tour, students explored advanced projects in self-driving vehicles, robotics, and unmanned aerial systems, and attended live demonstrations showcasing real-world autonomous applications. This experience allowed them to connect academic learning with emerging engineering trends.

At the end of the visit, students expressed their appreciation for this enriching opportunity, noting that it strengthened their technical skills and deepened their interest in AI, robotics, and autonomous systems.
