Grow Together: Peer Learning for Success
The College of Engineering organized an interactive academic session titled “Grow Together: Peer Learning for Success – From Loads to Diagrams” as part of its peer-learning initiative. The session was delivered by Ayman Alswaitti, President of the ASCE Student Chapter and a senior Civil Engineering student, under the supervision of Eng. Esraa Hijah.
The workshop provided a clear and practical introduction to structural loads, calculating reactions, shear forces, and bending moments, as well as step-by-step guidance on developing shear force and bending moment diagrams. This approach enhanced students’ applied understanding and practical skills.
This initiative reflects the College’s commitment to promoting collaborative learning, developing students’ academic skills, and fostering an engaged and supportive student community.
