Workshop and Game Jam with Endless Studios at Al Ain University
The College of Engineering at Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi Campus) organized an exciting workshop and game jam in collaboration with Endless Studios. The workshop was led by industry professionals and Eng. Rima Masri moderating the session.
The main goal of this event was to support engineering students in the field of game development, offering them valuable hands-on experience in game creation. During the workshop, students were introduced to the latest tools and techniques used in game design, focusing on programming skills and creativity in creating interactive games. The session included practical exercises, where students had the opportunity to work in teams and develop their own games in a short period of time, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Additionally, the event encouraged students to participate in the UAE Game Makers competition, a platform that aims to discover and support local talents in the gaming industry. The speakers provided essential tips on how to refine their game projects for the competition and offered insights into what judges look for in successful game designs. The workshop also served as a great opportunity for students to network with industry professionals and expand their career connections.
